Why shipping weight changes the decision
Two products with similar prices can produce very different parcel costs. One may arrive in a large box, need extra protection, or be difficult to combine with other items.
Weight also affects how you compare categories. A small accessory and a structured jacket should not be judged as though shipping contributes the same amount.
Categories that tend to be heavier or bulkier
Footwear
Shoes can be dense, and retail boxes add volume. Ask whether an estimate includes packaging.
Outerwear
Thick jackets and padded layers may be light for their size but expensive to ship by volume.
Structured bags
Shape-preserving packaging can limit compression and make dimensions matter alongside scale weight.
Electronics and hardware
Protective packaging, batteries, and service restrictions can matter. Confirm current eligibility with the official provider.
Before trusting a shipping calculator
A calculator is only as good as the numbers entered. Check whether it expects item weight or packed weight, actual or volumetric weight, destination, route and service level. If those fields are missing, the result is little more than a guess.
Weidian Global does not provide a working shipping calculator. Any estimate found elsewhere belongs to that third-party tool and should be checked against its current terms.
Why estimates are not guarantees
Packaging can change, and a warehouse may measure a parcel differently from a seller. Routes, minimum charges, restrictions and rate tables also change. Keep early estimates as a range until the parcel is measured by the company handling it.
Do not pretend an uncertain input is precise. Write down the range and the assumption behind it.
Tracking and support belong to official channels
Use the tracking number and support channel provided by the company actually handling the shipment. Weidian Global cannot locate a parcel, change an address, resolve a customs problem, or confirm a delivery.
What this page cannot tell you
This page explains a comparison method. It does not provide shipping, customs, tax, or legal advice, and it does not guarantee rates, transit times, routes, eligibility, or delivery.
